Mawlio only uses cookies and local storage that are needed for the service to work: keeping you signed in, enforcing the free address limit, and remembering your preferences. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Browser local storage

Technical browser fingerprint
So the free address limit can't be bypassed by opening a private window, Mawlio calculates a technical browser fingerprint. It combines traits such as screen size, time zone, and the way your device renders graphics. Only an encrypted summary (hash) of those traits is sent and stored, along with the record of the free addresses you've already used on that device. It can't be used to track you on other sites.
How to control them
You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you do, you'll be signed out and, if you were using Mawlio without an account, you'll lose access to your addresses. Since they're all necessary, we don't ask for prior consent to use them.
If we use analytics or other types of cookies in the future, we'll update this page and ask for your permission before turning them on.
